Here it is!! The second post on new attractions. This time, I am going to introduce to all of you the 2nd Integrated Resorts in Singapore, Marina Bay Sands.
As mentioned, Marina Bay Sands is also one of the integrated resorts. It is located at the front of Marina Bay. It features 3 55-storey hotel towers which are connected by a 1 hectare sky terrace on the roof, named Sands SkyPark. In front of the three towers are a Theatre Block, a Convention and Exhibition Facilities, as well as the Casino Block. There is also a ArtScience Museum which is next to the 3 blocks and has a shape of a lotus. There is a Wonder Full show in front of the Event plaza, which is the largest ligt and water spectacular in Southeast Asia.
The 340m-long SkyPark is home to the world’s longest elevated swimming pool, with a 146-metre vanishing edge, perched 191 metres above the ground. The SkyPark also boasts rooftop restaurants, nightclubs, gardens hundreds of trees and plants and a public observatory with 360-degree views of the Singapore skyline.
Some other facilities in Marina Bay Sands include the Shoppes Mall, two Sands Theatre, seven “celebrity chef” restaurants and two floating pavilions.
